Education Related

Sure the actual act of teaching may be easy for some, but it is fulfilling the expectations and demands of a “surrogate god” (which society tacitly expects teachers to be) that is the hard part for professional pedagogists. Teachers are expected to be perfect, blameless, omniscient, omnipresent, and social slaves.

It’s a farce to expect professional educators to promote the concept of “the more college, the better the pay” when teachers with master’s and doctorate degrees with 10 or more years of experience are making less money than recent baccalaureate graduates without experience in other professions. Those that do are brainwashed by “the system.”

On Government

Citizen’s Service Corp

The government (federal and or state) should create a new branch called the “Citizen’s Service Corp”(CSC).

*It could be broken into smaller units/departments just as the military with equal rankings and equal pay grades as the military.

*Person’s that would like to serve their country but do not meet the same age and medical qualifications could participate; i.e., can be over 35 years.

*Would stimulate the economy on national and local levels, as well as patriotism.

*Instead of closing military bases, the CSC would use those facilities.

*Current federal programs of similar focus would be moved under its umbrella.

*Those that refuse to bear arms against other humans would be willing to serve.

*Focuses of the organization:

            -grass roots community development and inner city projects.

-rehabilitation for released felons and substance abuse recoverers.

-disaster relief.

            -same or similar functions of civil engineers.

            -security of airports and other federal facilities.

            -social/citizen responsibility programs.

            -senior citizen needs assistants.

            -medical personnel.

“No New Taxes” means one of six things:

1.      They don’t understand taxes.

2.      They expect you to be god and create something from nothing.

3.      Lame duck attitudes and “not gonna do anythin’.

4.      They’re a liar and just want your vote.

5.      They want you to do without.

6.      They expect someone else to solve their problems.

There should be three Federal Supreme Courts.

1.      Civil.

2.      Criminal.

3.      Constitutional.

Equity for all and all for equity!

Politicians have created an additional tax means for gathering money to support themselves-the volunteer presidential campaign contribution section of the 1040. Why can’t Americans tell the government where to spend other monies as well, like a public education support contribution section of the 1040?

Creativity

Creativity for me is like a great computer game, it’s hard to put down.

Creativity is not a 404 web page link, it’s a DSL connection.

Creativity sometimes feels like a curse! In the movie Phenomenon, there’s a scenario where the character played by John Travolta is in the bar with his friends and breaks the mirror behind the bar. I know exactly what that frustration is like, to have so many “holy cow” ideas and “what if’s” and not being able to do anything with them.

For some, being an artist is not an option, it’s one’s life force, their programming from God.

Artists must constantly be absorbing sensory data. The more input one has the greater the potential output.

Life is:

            The dancer’s stage.

            The writer’s blank page..

            The dreamer’s cloud.

            The composer’s staff.

            The painter’s canvas.

            The actor’s screen.

To create is divine; to reproduce is human.

Creativity is not an option, it’s the life force of an artist’s very existence.

A spark of caring fanned by enthusiasm and fueled by support can engulf the world in a cathartic blaze that transforms the desolate landscape of hatred into a fertile meadow where imaginative flowers of tolerance, sharing, and peace may thrive in a climate of love.
