Introduction To Determining the Value of Art Any work of art can be considered valuable from a variety of perspectives. This primarily looks at how a monetary value may be arrived at. The world needs a comprehensive, working definition for the realm of the "ARTS". This definition succinctly satisfies that need. I've tried to explain the idea that "ART" is an acronym for itself: Aesthetic Rendering of Thought. There are certain conditions that must be met in order for "ART" to exist. Artra, Translooping Aesthetics, and Psuedo-Art: Terms For Use In Artology Here I provide definitions for these terms. This is a philosophical treatise on developing one's theory of education. After introducing the MIA PATCH system, I was asked by an administrator to create something for use by classroom teachers outside of the fine arts areas. This is the answer to that request. Just like the MIA PATCH layout, it was designed to open face-to-face. The Educating of Native Americans in U.S. Schools: A Historical Perspective In the early 1960's, while living with my aunt and cousins, I had memorable experiences attending a two-room school (with no indoor plumbing) on the Lower Sioux Indian Reservation in southern Minnesota. This was a paper I wrote for a course on Educational Administration in minority societies. For more detailed information, refer to the references in the Bibliography. Star Poster Program: Sample Instructional Documents Here are a few sample pages intended for a written curriculum and text for educators in presenting the Star Poster Program. Some may find the layout for pages of a Scope and Sequence Guide and a Course Guide helpful in writing their own curricula. |
