Rule 5.00  Equipment

5.01   Flatbear:  The official coin used by all Rangers. It is ten (10) centimeters in diameter and one (1) centimeter thick.

5.02   Bearball:  The official Bearball is a six (6) inch utility ball (dodge/kickball) in Junior League and a seven (7) inch utility ball (dodge/kickball) in all other leagues.  

5.03   Bearbelt:  An eight (8) centimeter wide belt securely worn around the Bears at their navel. They must be removed when a participant serves as a Hunter.  Chiefs and Wardens must check for proper placement before play begins.

5.04   Horns:  Horns for signaling purposes must be of metal or natural materials.

5.05  Penalty Flags:  Penalty flags are to be safety green in color, forty (40) centimeters square, about sixteen (16) inches and be printed with the Bearball logo.

5.06   Roster Lists:  Clan and competition rosters must meet the requirements of Rule

5.07   Score Sheets:  Will be maintained by each Clan and an official game score sheet will be maintained for each competition by the Soothsayer.

5.08  Stop Watch:  All Rangers must carry a stopwatch to check for time limits.

5.09  Whistles:  Each Ranger must carry a whistle for signaling purposes.
