Rule 6.00 Uniforms |
|
Although Bearball is designed as a non-contact sport, players may use protective head gear and body padding. Keep in mind that Hides must not endanger the health and safety of the wearer or other game participants. 6.01 Clan Uniforms: Clan Hides may be of any material and color, except that of the Wardens, as long as they do not create an obstructed view of the Bearbelt and are not hazardous to participants (This includes, footwear, helmets, gloves, and hats.) If a team elects to display an identification number on the participants (a Tag), the number/s must be at least eighteen (18) centimeters inches high on their back and clearly visible; i.e., black on white, yellow on blue, etc. A. All Ursa Minors must wear a Bearbelt when in active play and it must be removed when acting as a Hunter. It is two (2) inches wide and bright/blaze orange in color. B. Headbands must be worn to designate appropriate position with its color. If a hat/helmet is also worn, the headband must be securely attached around the outside of the hat or helmet. 1) Chief (red). 2) Shamans: a) Black with one (1) feather: Junior League b) White with two (2) feathers: Senior League c) Gray with three (3) feathers: Silver-tip League 6.02 Bearbands: They are three (3) inches wide and are to be worn on the left arm above the elbow to designate appropriate function. A. Yellow: Council members B. Blue: Scribes C. Brown: Any other clan member D. Bragging beads may also be worn on armbands and may be displayed on Totems 1) Blue: One (1) per Feast per Season. 2) Black: One (1) per Type 1S Feast per Season. 3) Gold: A member of Royalty, one (1) per tournament. E. Feathers and other amulets may also be worn on armbands. 6.03 Ranger Uniforms: Safety green vests
or jerseys printed with the Bearball Ranger logo. |
